Consultant Director of Guardian Alarms
Bruce founded Guardian Alarms in 1963 when he purchased the original company, Automatic Alarms, which had been operating since 1952.
Bruce trained in communications from 1947 and moved to fire alarms in 1958. Bruce holds a limited Electrical Registration, a Diploma in Industrial Management and is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Management. He was a member of the Standards Projects Committee of NZS4512 for 20 years as the standard evolved until its completion.
Bruce provides strategic direction to the Guardian Alarms Group where his experience and management skills are invaluable.
Managing Director/Service Manager/Quality Manager, Wellington
After completing his electrical registration in 1982 Don joined the Guardian Wellington team in 1986 as the Service Manager and became a Managing Director in 2003.
Along with his in depth knowledge of the Building Act, Building regulations and code. Don possesses a practical common sense approach to Fire Protection issues and provides practical solutions to often complex problems. Don imparts a professional standard of workmanship to all Guardian Employees.
Don is recognised as an IQP throughout New Zealand and holds directorships in other associated companies.
Contracts Manager, Wellington
John joined the Guardian Wellington team in 1972 as a Fire Alarm Technician and moved into the Contracts Manager role in 1979. John possess invaluable knowledge of NZS4512 and has a vast amount of experience in the Wellington contracting market.
John has a solid track record of delivering installation projects on time and in budget and believes on delivering a consistent, honest and personal service to our clients.
John is also a Director of the Guardian Alarms Group.
Branch Manager, Northern
Campbell gained his Electrical Registration in 1994 and joined the Guardian Auckland Team as a Fire Alarm Technician in 1997. Through his years with Guardian Campbell has gained a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of fire alarm installation and maintenance.
Campbell has been leading the Auckland team since 2001 and is focused on building strong relationships with Contractors in the Auckland region to deliver the best results for our clients.
Branch Manager, Christchurch
Steve joined the Guardian Christchurch team in 2003 as a Fire Alarm Technician and completed the National Certificate in Fire Detection and Alarm systems in 2005.
Steve took up the Christchurch Branch Manager position in 2013.
Steve is fully conversant in the maintenance and inspection requirements of NZS4512 and holds IQP registration for Automatic and manual emergency warning systems for the whole of the South Island.
Steve is focused on building relationships with customers based on trust, competency and reliability. He is committed to establishing Guardian Alarms in a prominent position to assist Christchurch city during its rebuild process.
