A building compliance schedule may require your building to have an Emergency Lighting System.
An Emergency lighting system provides escape route lighting and illuminated exit signage to guide the building occupants out of the building in the event of a power outage or fire.
The compliance schedule will state if your Emergency Lighting system requires monthly or six monthly tests and/or annual inspections to ensure the system is being maintained in working order, ensuring the safety of your building occupants.
